Curt Meanor, a former United States District Court Judge, joined the Firm in 1986. Judge Meanor graduated from Rutgers University School of Law as a Henry Rutgers Scholar. Curt served as a judge for almost 14 years in the Superior Court of New Jersey in both the Law and Appellate Divisions, and also sat on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (by designation). He was an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School from 1964 to 1968 and served as Executive Secretary to the Honorable Robert B. Meyner, Governor of the State of New Jersey, from 1959 through 1960.

In addition to his judicial experience, Curt has substantial experience in all aspects of litigation. He was in private practice in Hudson County for 13 years before serving on the bench. He is frequently retained by other attorneys as a consultant on appeals and other complicated legal issues and has substantial expertise in products liability and pharmaceutical matters.

Curt serves as an expert witness in legal malpractice cases. Curt also does extensive work as a mediator and arbitrator in alternative dispute resolutions, where his years of experience as a trial judge enable him to quickly draw out the salient fact and analyze the parties' contentions. Curt is admitted in the state courts of New Jersey, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey; the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Seventh Circuits; and the United States Supreme Court.
