Melissa Elwyn is a civil litigator whose experience includes white collar defense, securities, international, pharmaceutical and intellectual property litigation. Melissa is also fluent in French and has assisted in the handling of complex international commercial disputes. Melissa is a graduate of Tulane University School of Law, where Melissa was the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and also, the brief writer and coach for the 2002 and 2003 VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competitions. Melissa received her LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law. At Fordham, Melissa's academic paper focusing on bankruptcy and international trade received the 2007 NACLE writing competition award. Melissa also completed graduate work in defense spending and humanitarian military operations at Belgium's Royal Military Academy, and also, researched gender discrimination issues in the military at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

Melissa is admitted to the state and federal courts in New Jersey. She is an active volunteer for the Vassar Alumni Admissions Committee, New Jersey Chapter, and additionally, in the New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
