Rob attended St. Peter's College as a McMullin Scholarship recipient and won Gold Medals upon graduation for political science and liberal arts studies as the top graduating senior in those areas. Rob was Chief Legislative Aide to New Jersey State Senator and former chair of the New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee Edward T. O'Connor, Jr., a position Rob held while attending Seton Hall University School of Law's evening division. In that position, he also acted as a representative to the New Jersey Law Revision Commission. After graduating cum laude from Seton Hall, Rob served as a judicial clerk to Justice Robert L. Clifford of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Skilled in all litigation areas, Rob has been involved in numerous jury trials and is also regularly consulted on appellate matters. He is particularly recognized for his legal writing skills and has been the primary author of several successful dispositive briefs in multimillion-dollar litigation. In addition to being admitted in the state and federal courts in New Jersey, he is admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court, to the bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and is admitted and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Rob has assisted in editing New Jersey Federal Civil Procedure's chapter on the state and federal RICO acts and has made numerous presentations to attorneys and clients on current legal issues, including deposition strategy, the defense of claims for economic loss, and legal liability for injuries occurring during recreational sporting activities.
